The Blender Institute just began production on a new open movie project named “Durian.” Check it out at durian.blender.org. Along with producing the new movie, they’ll be rewriting Blender’s whole source code in python, giving it a new streamlined interface, a completely editable python library (meaning you can customize anything, and I mean ANYTHING, you want), and a lot of brand new features.

Fusion studio is my personal website I made so that friends, family, possible employers, as well as the general public can view my artwork, learn useful information, check out the latest 3D news, and download and view some of my digital work (for study of my techniques, or just for fun). My name is Christian Coppoletti (you can call me Chris) and I am a freelance 3D artist. I have a passion for artwork, particularly in the CG (Computer Generated) category. Since roughly 2006 I have devoted a large portion of my time to honing my skills.

Some of those skills include:

• Advanced 3D modeling concepts and techniques (including reference modeling)
• Concept design (pencil drawing mostly)
• Game friendly 3D texturing and materials
• Advanced rendering/lighting techniques
• Rigging fundamentals
• Advanced Post-processing
• Knowledge of constraint interaction and concepts

Most of the above I have learned to use in the free, not to mention open source, software called Blender (Don’t be worried if you peffer another 3D app,I can easily export almost anything I make in Blender, for use in other appilcations).
